  1. My apologies for the misunderstanding. As with the other post, thanks for explaining all this anon2.
  2. Thanks anon2, I wasn't aware this was what was happening! I appreciate you taking the time to explain all that, as well as the options I'd have to make use of. Also, apologies for the misunderstanding.
  3. Edit: See comment below by anon2 for an explanation of this behaviour. - - - - - When selecting a colour using the Colour Picker Tool, and then applying it to another shape, the values change slightly. This seems to happen when HSL is selected in the Colour Panel, but not when CMYK is selected. It seems to happen with a number of different values, although not all of them. I've replicated the problem with multiple objects, and multiple colours, on both Publisher (1.8.1) and Designer (1.8.1). I don't have Photo to attempt it with that app. Currently running Catalina 10.15.2 I've posted this in the Publisher Bug forum also, so it's visible to people who search there. If someone can replicate it on Photo it might be worth posting there too? Colour Picker.mov

  5. I don't think so. Those are new areas to me, but I've checked the symbols panel and there is nothing there, nor are there any of the global or spot indicators on the palette.
  6. Here's what I tried today, and what happened: Opened the same document, was able to repeat the unexpected behaviour with same two objects in the video. Copied and pasted them into a new document, again was able to repeat unexpected behaviour. Created two rectangles with the same HSL values, wasn't able to repeat the unexpected behaviour with those objects, but could continue to with the original objects. Unexpected behaviour stopped happening in that document and the original document, even after restarting the computer. How weird! I would add that I think I can recall this happening multiple times with other objects in that original document. I don't know if it's happened before or not, sorry.
  7. Hi Gabe, I'm running 10.14.6. The problem did not happen with every object, but I believe it was repeatable with the objects where it did happen (that is, I could undo the change, and then could make it happen again with the same object).
  8. This problem happens inconsistently. I will: Enter a new Saturation value for an object. Not press the Enter/Return key. Select a new object in the Layers pane. When I do this, the following has been (sometimes) happening: The new Saturation value will not be applied to the object where it was entered. The new Saturation value, as well as the Hue and Lightness values from the previous object (where it was entered) will instead be copied across to the new object I've selected in the Layers pane. HSL Values Not Applied But Copied.mov
  9. When entering Saturation or Lightness values, the Hue reduces by 1. So far I've been able to reproduce this problem when: Starting with H: 250, S: 48, L:33, and changing either Saturation or Lightness to another value. Starting with H: 239, S: 48, L:33, and changing either Saturation or Lightness to another value. Although I'd thought I'd noticed something similar before, this is the first time I've seen exactly what was happening. HSL Values Changing.mov
