[Glare Reduction]

I'm looking for an equivalent to Photoshop's Camera Raw "Recovery" slider which does a decent job of reducing an object's glare. I looked at other posts on the subject of Glare and it seems there is no Affinity equivalent. Is that correct?

I lost the right side of the screen that shows the layers panel, etc. The only thing I have on the screen is the tools on the left side.

How do I get things back to their original state?
