  1. UPDATE: Fixed my issue by setting monitor technology to GSYNC, GSYNC Compatible in nvidia control panel -- specifically for affinity photo. It was originally set to highest refresh rate.
  2. I'm having the same issue on Windows 10 build 19042.804 - Nvidia driver 461.40. Affinity photo version 1.9.1.979 This issue has been persistent for multiple versions of affinity photo as well. I can replicate the screen black out simply by zooming in and out of a canvas. The issue only happens on my 3440x1440 monitor. (Asus ROG PG348Q) If I use affinity photo on my 4k monitor (Asus TUF VG289) the issue no longer presents itself. Any help would be greatly apperciated.
  3. GG! Looks like Rivatuner Statistics server is also causing a launch conflict with Affinity Photo! I use Riva Tuner for a system wide FPS limit on all my 3D applications, game engines, and games.
  4. I just installed affinity photo this morning, first time install never had an affinity product on my machine. Affinity photo would not launch after the fresh install. Uninstalling KB4515384 did allow for affinity photo to run, however the security updates are more important to me. So I can live with affinity photo not launching for the time being. (To clarify, after reinstalling KB4515384, Affinity Photo did not launch.) I can also confirm that C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3d9.dll is causing the crash on launch in my case as well. However, I do not have MSI afterbunner running.
