......... By the way, I also notice that whilst recording a macro the context menu in the layers panel is unavailable. I cannot right-click and select duplicate. Of course I can duplicate with a keyboard shortcut or from the main menu so it isn't a big issue for this exercise. Just noting it.

I have a simple process for creating luminosity masks for my editing. It involves repetitive steps creating and renaming spare channels. However if I try to record a macro of these steps the macro fails to recognize the renaming step, indeed so does Affinity, and I am left simply with several channels called 'spare channel' and I have no way of knowing which one is which. Is this because the renaming is done via a modal dialog box? Is there any alternative way to rename a channel that will work and be recorded? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Can anyone help me find the best way to merge three (bracketed) raw files without using the automatic hdr process. I would simply like to use my own masking process to create the result. Must I process the raw files first then load tifs into a stack? Or is there another way?
