[Affinity designer squishing imported pdf text]

Hi, just wondering if there has been any update on when this bug might be fixed? It is still occurring in the latest version of Designer on Mac (version 1.9.3).

[Draw symmetric shape (normal distribution) with pen tool]

Hi,

I am new to affinity designer and hoping to draw some schematics of normal distributions under different situations (see attached image for what I am trying to draw). I am using the pen tool, but having trouble getting the left and right side to be symmetric. I am trying to essentially create a schematic that looks like the attached image and be able to adjust the height and width of the distributions. I think this should be straightforward, but not sure what options to use with the pen tool to easily do this and would appreciate some help.

Hi,

I am using the latest version of Affinity Designer on Mac OS and I am having trouble importing saved plots from R (ggplot2). The plots look fine in Preview, but when I import them into Affinity Designer the hyphen gets messed up. The plots are saved in R with Arial which is visible in Affinity. Any idea what to do? I can save with the following formats: "eps", "ps", "tex" (pictex), "pdf", "jpeg", "tiff", "png", "bmp", "svg". The hyphen is not messed up with svg, but svg and ps also have elements that don't display correctly in Affinity.
