Resizing not working with image and text

Can someone please help asap. 'Im new to Designer and trying to resize a logo that is adobe illustrator file but when i drag the corner box the image part resizes but the text stays where it is. I have tried everything I know and can't find answer. I have all selected and even tried dragging just the text box but the outline gets bigger but the text stays put at same size. Ahhhhh struggling with most basic task is not good. Need to get designing. Thanks in advance for your help
