Yes I believe I have enabled the Force Pressure setting. I think I am using a pencil 1. One odd thig is I recently installed Affinity Designer and my pencil works on the paint brush in that app. Attached is a screen shot.

I installed version 1.7.2 on my iPad and my apple pencil will work with the pixel brush but not with the paint brush. Is there something I am missing?
