  1. Hi There, I store all of my photos on OneDrive. This works great with AP 2. But culling and rating is not so easy. What digital asset management or library options are there to rate etc. any suggestions?
  2. Hi All, There is a significant difference in how the RAW file looks when imported into AP if you use the Serif engine or the Apple engine. That is no news I guess. Apple RAW engine has some default settings that makes the opened RAW file a lot more in the direction of the end result that I like it to be. It is a tat warmer, a bit more pre sharpened and it looks a little more crisp, probably because of some black point and applied curves. I fiddled a bit with these settings to get the look I want, but it is just not getting there. My question is, whether someone else tried this and came up with some settings Apple applies to the RAW file by default. I want to use the Serif engine because it gives me the opportunity to have non destructive RAW processing. I use Canon 80D with CR2 files, but I have the same effect with my faithful Nikon CP P7100 and NRW files. Grtz. H.
  3. I figured out, that when you do save as and you try to change the suggested file name an extra space creates this extra extension. The space is added when you use the move the cursor with the space bar option to use it as an trackpad.
  4. When a file is saved with save as, an extra .afphoto extension is added to the already extension. I came across it whilst reviewing the beta 2.1 version. It is also in that version.
  5. Sure, I will record one. It happens always. With one file or multiple files. It just doesn’t finish. While recording the second version. I noticed that switching to the background the progress message disappeared. Maybe it is just a UX thingie. The files are created every time I do it. IMG_3324.MOV IMG_3325.MOV
  6. The files are perfectly exported, but the export does not finish. The batch progress bar stays in view. Force quitting the app only helps. The files are then there. So it does work.
  7. Same thing here. Tried reinstall, nothing helps. Pressing not now takes you further and youncan work.
  8. Hi guys, back again. Running Photo 2 on IPad OS 16.2. Still has the same issue. I added the raw file too. I worked a while in serif raw. Didn’t have that issue. I switched back to Apple RAW. This issue popped up again, maybe related? Grtz. H. 80D_IMG_8935_BestOf_2022_Rtg.cr2
  9. When opening a RAW file in Affinity Photo the first time you start the app sometimes you get a distorted rectangle in the corner. This does not go away and is also saved. Closing the photo and importing it again solves the issue. See screenshot. Apple RAW Ipad pro 11 2021 128gb IOS 15.7 Affinity 1.10.5.280
  10. Than maybe this is also the case with my 60 macro from Tamron. It has the same problem. strange that after develop, the jpg is showing the correct info. I think we cannot do much about that.
  11. Hi Guys, I noticed that the storage for Photo is now 11gb. Which is strange because both the Affinity Photo folder is empty and I don’t have any photos on the Affinity Photo start page / desktop. Is it keeping some kind of cache? Can I clear it someway? Thx H.
  12. Hi Gabe, I am sorry for responding so late. Here is the original RAW file. IMG_3709.cr2
  13. Hi All, I think I ran into a snag, I think it is a bug. In the RAW development persona the RAW info displayed in the upper left corner is not correct. The lens info shows the wrong lens info. In the exif info display menu option on the right, the correct info is displayed. After development the info is still ok in the other personas. I added a screenshot. I am running 1.7.2 on IOS 12.4 and IPad AIr 2 64GB.
