  1. Hello! This would be nice and for some Users very helpful: "CLONE OBJECT" Live Effect In the Menu you see: - Number of clones - Position/Offset - Rotation - Scale You can change every value in the Clone-menu afterwards Every manipulation on the Original Object is transfered live to the clones. You can also clone whole Groups. This would be a very nice Christmas Present!
  2. Hello! Thanks for your answer. I was of the opinion that the jpg export is the same as "save for web". The jpg format makes no sense for printing, all vectors are rasterized. I think I'll stick with the option of the screenshot for a quick preview
  3. If I have a document in CMYK color mode for printing and want to export a small JPG for the customer to view it quickly, it is always in 32bit! Many devices cannot display a 32-bit image. I use a simple screenshot to work around the problem. how can I reduce the JPG export to 24 bit?
  4. At first: Sorry about my bad English... Affinity-Photo, remember Tool-Settings when switch to another Document? For Example: i have opened 5 Photos. I use the crop-Tool with the Settings: 40mm x 30mm, 300 dpi I crop Image Nr 1 -> I goto Image Nr2 - MY SETTINGS I TYPED IN ARE LOST I want to keep my settings, as long as I type in new measurements! Its not funny to type the numbers over and over again...
  5. Thanks a lot for your answers! so i dont have to buy a new license on my new machine - thats great! no - i dont use mac AND Pc, I just wanted to be sure, that my files i created on a mac can opened on a Win Pc without trouble. So the .affinity fileformat is compatible to ALL platforms and operating systems? (And for downward versions)
  6. Hello! at first: sorry bout my bad English — second: congratulation to the whole Affinity team, you have done a great job! (...to send Adobe to Hell) question number one: i have affinity designer running on my old (but still good!) iMac from 2012. i wish to move to another machine, maybee this year, maybee spring 2020. —— do i have to re-buy a license? (Programm will not be used on old machine) question number two: are your files readable with another operating System? And older programm versions? for exampl: i create a document on my mac, lets say affinity designer 6.2 —— am i able to open this doc on an windows machine, running designer vers 2.0? thanks a lot for your answers!
