Distort Text / Envelope tool

EricCabinetMaker posted a topic in Feedback for Affinity Designer V1 on Desktop

Hello Affinity, I'm surprised AD doesn't have a "Distort Text" tool...why is this? It seems like this would be standard early on in the most basic version. In 2015 it was on the "road map" and still nothing. Is this something that will be available soon. Thanks...Eric
