    Hey DRana,

We are seeing lots of reports like this and so far we haven't reproduced it internally.

Are you using a tablet or do you have one connected? Does it affect both the mouse and pen (if you're using one) when this happens?

I use both mouse and Wacom tablet and it gives me problem on both after some time of use. I use my Wacom tablet via USB cable to avoid any lag or other wireless issue. However even when I use my wireless mouse it still gives me the same problem as it does with my USB connected Wacom tablet. Also want to address that this never happened before until the latest update was installed on my computer.

  2. Hi there,

I recently updated my Affinity Photo to v1.8.2.620, after the update every time I use the application, the "Move tool" stops working after some point. It works fine for while but when I switch to different layers and try to transform or resize,  it does nothing. I even made sure my layers were rasterized just to clear my doubt. I have to restart the application to make the tool working back again.

Please help me with this error since it's really affecting my workflow.

    Thank you in advance.

  3. Thank you all for your helpful response.

The problem has been fixed. It's weird but all I did was restart my computer and tried saving the project and it didn't give me any error at that time.

Kind of not happy and worried about the error for the future because I tend to save my project half and continue later and I don't want to lose all my hard work because of this error. This time for me it wasn't a big change to my project so it wasn't a problem restarting my project back again. I can't quite say if the error was caused because of my computer system or the software error from Affinity. If its the software than I hope it gets fixed in the future update.

Again, thanks to all of you for your help. :)

  4. I had a project saved on my computer few days ago. Today I planned on completing the project and tried saving the project but it doesn't let me save the document, it keeps giving me an error message saying, "Changes to the file are not allowed.". I even tried to save the document in different file format or with different name to different location but yet again it still gives me the same error message.

If anyone who know to solve this problem please do reply to this forum. I would kindly appreciate it.

    Thank you.

  5. I was looking for the same solution online and couldn't find one that could help me but i eventually found one that helped me create sharp edges. Below I've attached the screenshots that helped me get sharp edges using the pressure point.442547875_Screenshot(14)_LI.thumb.jpg.69696665453d4086a834098acea98665.jpg2045594824_Screenshot(15)_LI.thumb.jpg.ca19ddbe76aef8a469fe8c508f905fdd.jpg

    Click on the pressure box.

Move the pressure point to see the effect.

Move the left pressure point to make the start point sharper and vise versa. You can add more pressure point by clicking on the line to adjust the sharpness according to your need.

Hope this helps everyone who is looking to learn on making the edge sharp using the pen tool.
