Selections of multiple layers do not work with move tool

Please can you double bump this, it's been over a year since I first encountered this and I'm still stuck on 2.0.4 because of how important this functionality is. I'd really like to be able to finally update and hopefully not have to wait until V3. -

Ticket bumps for bug fixes don't seem to get anywhere... there's other bugs I've reported that haven't been fixed since version 1.10.6. -

This issue is still present in 2.2 and has been in each of the beta versions I've tried, I have to stay behind on 2.0 in order for this to work. Can you please take a look at fixing this for the next incremental update? -

Seems to have stopped functioning properly again for me on 13.5 with 2.1.1. -

Just updated to check, very nice that it's back but I still had to revert to 2.0 because of other minor issues but now I'm more hopeful those will get fixed -

I just tried this in 2.0.4 via Time Machine backup and it works as I remembered from earlier today, so I'm definitely not losing my mind. Since Affinity files saved in 2.1 don't work in 2.0.4 I'm going to have to export to PSD so I can actually get the files to work. 😞 -
This seemed to work earlier today before updating to 2.1, but selecting a portion of two different layers to move a portion of each simultaneously does not work at all, and instead moves the entire layer(s), tested it in V1 to make sure I was not going insane and that it never worked, but it did work as I expected. Videos below: top video shows expected behavior in V1, bottom video is V2 (2.1.0), showing unexpected behavior. This is important for me, and it's going to be unbelievably tedious to go without this until the next update, unless this is now the standard. I hope it's not a bug and maybe I am doing something wrong. V1 Screen Recording 2023-05-18 at 18.50.46.mov V2 Screen Recording 2023-05-18 at 18.51.41.mov

This issue really bothers me, still present in 2.1. I really wish it was fixed after all this time from launch. Irks me to see it working on V1 and that I cannot access this simple macOS feature on V2. I sure hope it gets fixed soon. -
The issue I posted previously (seen above) is still present in V2, I was using the software a moment ago and accidentally triggered the crash not intending to see if it would even happen.

While actively using the paint/erase brush tool, creating a new layer crashes the software. Can be reproduced by pressing shift-command-N (New Layer shortcut) while the brush is actively being used (clicked in) with a mouse, but in my case I have the New Layer shortcut mapped to a Wacom Pro Pen 2 side button, which I accidentally press on occasion while the pen is touching the tablet, thus crashing the software in the middle of drawing. The software crashes with a red screen when fullscreen, but just closes when the window is not full screen. Using Affinity Photo version 1.10.5; and this has happened to me on macOS versions prior to 12.3.1. I am using an Intel iMac. Screen Recording 2022-05-02 at 17.26.53.mov
