I'm very new to Affinity Designer (just got it today), and want to know if it has a "Live Trace" tool like in Illustrator. I often need to change lower resolution images (as on the web) to a print quality (300 dpi or higher). I've done this in Illustrator by "Live Tracing" to vector format, defining the resolution I want, and then converting back to raster at the higher resolution. Not perfect, but it works for my purposes. This feature would be really useful for me if it's in AD. Thanks!

Can AD convert raster images to vector format and back?

Thanks for your reply. I'm impressed that someone on the staff actually responded. I guess I'll have to keep my copy of Illustrator for a few years longer for some functions and import the results into AD for further work. I refuse to sign up for Creative Suite!
