Poto got a reaction from Old Bruce in Exporting an image in the export persona will export two images, one of which has the word @2x and doubles in size
I solved it, it turns out that it is just expand the layer and turn off the 2x setting

Poto got a reaction from William Overington in I want to know how to become a master
I know there are many subdivisions in the art field, such as graphic design, illustration, UI design, and other different directions. I don't have a specific idea at the moment, I don't come from an art school, I just like beauty and art allows me to experience a visual impact, which I enjoy.
But I also want to create work that strikes a chord. But I'm not sure how to do that, how I should choose the field of design I like and how to study and further my education.
I hope the experts and gurus in this forum can give me direction and even a few words can bring me inspiration.
I know I can search more pages than I can read in a lifetime with just Google keywords, but I've tried reading quite a few articles and I'm still not sure what I want to do.

Poto got a reaction from buschbrand in Batch processing allows users to drag and drop files
All I can do is click on add picture and pick the picture from the pop-up system file manager.

Why is this limiting my choice?
I can't drag and drop or copy

Poto got a reaction from Move Along People in Rich format support is the advantage of Affinity suite
This thinking stems from one of my format conversion needs.
Affinity photo's batch job supports webp conversion format, which is not supported by many software.
Although I have almost never used PS, since I started using the Affinity suite, I asked my friends that PS does not seem to be able to open webp format images and requires additional plugins.

Therefore, I do not understand why some software cannot support the vast majority, at least it is still seen on the Internet, and there is no completely eliminated format.
Keep it that way, open and compatible.

Poto got a reaction from Chul in Interesting metaphor: If Design Tools Were Cars
Eddie Lobanovskiy presents an interesting metaphor for design tools.
But I am not sure what the third software is.

So, in your mind, what kind of car is the Affinity family?
Can also be used as other metaphors, not necessarily a car, just have other design software for comparison

Poto got a reaction from Palatino in Affinity Publisher is not a copy of InDesign - no massive fail!
People always tend to compare new things with existing things.
I very much hope that SERIF can think independently about how creative software should be.
Adobe's software is not always so good, there are even some obvious but officially ignored issues, such as humanization in operation, historical burdens are so heavy that the software is very bloated.
I am happy to see SERIF come out with a creative software route that is independent of her own thinking, providing the world with more humane and more modern creative software.
