Issue launching windows 10 and Affinity Photo v1.71.404

mikog8tor posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I try to launch after updating and it gets to the loading fonts and then just closes. I have tried uninstalling and installing again but no dice. I downloaded the latest beta and installed that and it runs w/o any issue. Any suggestions on how to get 1.71.404 to work properly? Thanks
