  1. I don't know if this is a Mac thing or not, but it's really driving me crazy. I'm in Publisher and just want to scroll up or down through my documents, but the pages keep flying out of view (left/right) due to to the tiniest finger gestures. Is there a way to have fixed up/down scrolling only? Is this an Apple thing or an Affinity thing? I don't see any options on my mouse in system settings that will fix it. I have ver. 1.10.8 and a new-ish imac. Thanks very much!
  2. Adding, I'm a print designer with many — decades, in fact — years of experience. I know that this used to happen in InDesign, and if I converted a file to pdf it was fixed. It's not fixing here. Please, a simple work-around is needed. Thank you.
  3. I have this problem as well. The above suggestions have not fixed it. I just want to print a black text document and it's REALLY frustrating that I can't. It seems like such a simple thing. What is the issue with making this work?
  4. PLEASE consider this for the next update. The icons are just too small for many people and they make the software unusable. I'm on a mac. It's not a text size thing, it's the icons. I feel like the software designers aren't listening/don't care.
  5. The interface is impossibly small for me. Please provide an option, a solution, a work-around, or just make the icons bigger next version out. I'm on a mac and I just can't freaking see the icons.
  6. So I see that I can key in a percentage using the transform tool. That works, thanks!
  7. I need to scale a number of small vector graphics in a Publisher document and can't find a tool for this. I need to use mathematical scaling, not just grabbing a corner and reducing on the fly. Please help!
  8. I'm using the keyboard shortcut. It doesn't seem to make much difference. Thanks Chris!
  9. Neither, thanks. If I save and close the image in progress and then re-open it, things are okay (for a bit). I did realize this last time that when you have a tool open that you are adjusting (ie, brush size, using the top sliders), you have to click out of the slider to continue, or the tool is "stuck". I don't think this is the same issue.
  10. I hardly know how to describe this...these are the steps that create the problem: 1. open a photo 2. do a few things to the layer 3. try to switch to a different tool: result is that all I get is the Hand (View) tool. It doesn't matter which tool I'm trying to use. It will not "let go" of the hand tool. Can anyone tell me what is going on here? The software is so far unusable to me because of this. Thanks! I'm on an older Mac, running 10.12.6 (Sierra)
