You said that doing a full reset didn't work, but as you're fairly new to Affinity perhaps you don't know what that means. So, just in case:
- Press and hold the Ctrl key.
- Click on the application to start it.
- Wait for the popup menu to appear (or for the application icon to show up on the Windows task bar). If the icon shows up without the popup, click it.
- Release the Ctrl key.
- Press the Select All button, then the Clear button.
CTRL key + click on application = hangs while loading
Crash with this screen.

... I also wonder how Marcus managed to get the menu pulldowns to show? ....
Using ALT + arrow down
and arrow left / right to move around.

I missed that, where he somehow got the pulldowns. I agree doing a full reset maybe the fix needed.

DUET DISPLAY was installed. After I uninstalled DUET, AFFINITY PHOTO opened normally.
I will test on the other computer if with the last update of DUET DISPLAY the problem will disappear.
PRINT SCREEN WITHOUT "DUET DISPLAY" tool.
Thank you very much for your support and everyone who took the time to help me!!!
