[convert to curve make objects dissapear (literally) and no way to undo.]

Possibily, I got this same issue. 

 

Details, when Text convert to curves (From menu bar, Button on toolbar or Ctrl + Enter) with Gruop, automatically lost fill (and stroke) color.

 

And...

• Cannot Undo work for these objects. (Ctrl + z only, I can use from History window.)
• Randomly,when (Ctrl + Z), I got mysterious actions. (Duplicate in obeject. History step jumped. Despite undo, but keep converted curve.)

[On Designer 2: This work is normally effect? or great error?]

I tried perspective work, but a couple of matter confused me. Tell me about this effect  are normal❓ or great error⁉️

Issue:

• Text shapes amazing effect. wrap, back to normal shape outside perspective frame.
• Sometimes leave shapes data after move text box. I change from OpenGL to Metal, but still it.
• This effect when move text box only.

Setup

• Document size 7000px x 4000px
• Font: Avenir Next (Heavy, 194.2pt and Tracking 50%), Font outline 5px and yellow color, fill gray.
• Warp Group (Perspective): Size Width 5415px x Height 182.5px. Position X-axis 1095px x Y-axis 1782px
• Perspective frame's four apex point positions(X-Y): 850-700, 4000-1930, 1050-2640, 4030-2120

System

• M1 Mac mini
• macOS 13.4 Ventura
• Affinity Designer 2.1.0

Laye Effects work, scale for Out Shadows

Gradation scale able to change scales. I wish on Out Shadow of Layer Effects.

Light and shadow works normally some type. the sun or a other lights (artificial light products) metamorphoses shadow scale.

Shadow bigger when an objects close to light. (The sun is pretty far distance position, so don't be change)

Affinity Designer: For Pen tools stroke convert to curve.

I recommend The function "Expand Stroke" menu move or plus to context menu of pen tools.

First, I can find stroke convert to outline function on Context menu.

So I confused Designer doesn't able to convert from pen tools vector to curve. And after, I found my answer in this forum.

But I think possibly, usually this convert function use to in work many many times.

*Plus, my recognize not Expand stroke. convert to shape or curve. Sorry about these knowledge gap or culture gap.

Hello Affinity incredible staff❤️

Sometimes, I'm using picker and recent colors on FX (Layer Effects). However, iPad version Photo and Designer cannot use or show Recent color on Colour studio palette. 
Because if enable some effect of FX switch, effect is applied on layer's object then. And I cannot access to object's color with Color picker tool. So, I don’t able to use object’s color 😔

I watched Youtube video "Editing Metadata". And I tried this work, however, in Detail Window, white color fill to background.

Another metadata pull-down menus are nothing happened same issue.

[Problem exporting files]

I got the same issue both Affinity Photo and Designer.

And I may be find problem point on Console Error. I embed document.

This issue has never save documents while export working these documents.

My system

MacPro 2010, macOS 10.13.6, Unsupport mac GPU AMD W7200 & Affinity Photo and Designer Latest version at 2019/08/18

[Copying data into tables]

Absolutely.

 

From Apple Numbers only Function’s result into table cell.

I create Calendar on Numbers. Because this application uses  database functions for typing day integers.

I mean a one cell input “1”, and next cell input “= Former cell + 1” or “= Above cell + 7”. And copy to horizontal or vertical cells. These work input automatically days in cell.

Just now copy and paste work is as image.
