  1. Apple's Finder allows you to group files by Kind. This works well, but all Affinity files are dumped into Apple's "we don't know what this file is" section called Other. Affinity needs to work with Apple to get an upgraded file sort parameter so that Affinity files are grouped appropriately. It would be great if Apple allowed you to customize the grouping function, but at the moment with Catalina that is not possible. You can tweak the function with colours and tags, but you cannot change or add to the grouping parameters without resorting to the Terminal app. That is not realistic for the average user. Apple support says it can't be done with the current OS, but I think Affinity management needs to work with Apple Engineering to get all the files grouped appropriately.
  2. That did it, I was neglecting to use the outer drag handle in the bottom corner. That works great. Thanks for the help.
  3. I have a logo that has text on a circle. When I scale the circle with the text on it (part of a large group of nested circles) the text does not scale and it makes a large mess. I have to size the text on the circle to the target size first before I can resize the circle. This is very frustrating as the new logo is a large group of nested circles and other text that I want to be able to resize at will to whatever size my needs are. What am I missing? Or, is this the expected behaviour. My recollection of Illustrator is that this was not a problem and the text would resize with the circle.
  4. New to Affinity Photo. This is a crucial problem and I am experiencing the same thing. Take a photo from Apple Photos and use the Affinity Extension to get to Affinity Photo. Make edits and find that there is no simple way to get the photo back into Apple Photos. Three months is enough time to solve this problem, especially since the beta version of Catalina has been out for over a year. iMac 27" Core i7 running MacOS 10.15.2. Affinity Photo 1.7.3
