I am sorry it took me a long time to respond but I kinda quit looking for an answer since I can't seem to find it anywhere on the web. but yes I just checked and it says I have the service pack 1 for Windows 7 ultimate and the platform is up to date( the link you added).

I tried to disable aero and affinity would not start, I get a message saying I need Aero for rendering so I turned it back on. so yes i have win 7 and aero

good morning I am using windows 7. as soon as I load affinity photo it crashes not error screen no nothing, I have tried reinstalling, restarting my PC, deleting fonts, and pressing Ctrl and cleared all data. thank you for any help you provide.
