  1. Breathtaking, Marc! You have nailed the gloss effect, something I struggle with.
  2. Here's my first Instrument Panel done mainly in Designer. There are a few imported Photoshop elements from previous panel illustrations. These are used as training aids for student pilots. The individual instruments an be configured to represent a particular flight attitude, too. I am staring to get used to the 'thinking different' that Designer takes, compared to my lived-in-for-thirty-plus-years Photoshop. Enjoy!
  3. I'd like to see a Simplify Curve function, too.
  4. OK I may have fixed this myself. The miscreant curves were being created in a Layer and were transferring themselves to an Artboard layer automatically. I have removed that Artboard layer now. I'll get back f it does it again. I will need to go back and read up about Artboards. Graeme.
  5. Hi Guys, I'm a Designer newby but well versed in the CC suite. I am slowly making the transition so I can create my profile artwork in AD instead of PS. When I am working in Designer Persona I am having an issue where when I copy and paste a curve or shape, or even nudge it, or Duplicate it, it automatically jumps to another Parent Layer in the Layer Stack. It does not appear to make a difference if the Layers are locked or visible, it happens anyway. I have searched this forum and online for a similar occurrence but I have not found any. It may just be that I have a preference set strangely. I have restarted both the computer and the software. I am running Designer 1.8.4 on a new Mac with Catalina OSX. Does anyone have any ideas? Graeme 'Grubby Fingers' Molineux An example of my PS work I wish to create in AD
  6. Hi Guys, I am just picking up Designer after a lifetime of using Illustrator and Photoshop, like you, Slarti, from around day one. This control point angle constraining is a function I am already missing and would like to see included in Designer.
  7. Thanks for your response, Alfred. I, too, could not work out where to get the Resource file mentioned in the book.
