I would also appreciate an auto-resize feature for images that are larger than the canvas. I always have to zoom the canvas out and then resize. It's not a deal-breaker, because I absolutely love Affinity Designer/Photo, but it is aggravating every time. I'm a web designer and always dropping giant stock photos into my concepts, so it adds that extra resize step every time.

Also throwing in my vote for optical / metric kerning. I love Affinity, but it's crazy that this feature hasn't been implemented yet. Not interested in any "WHY U NEED THAT??" replies. Just add the feature.

Taking even longer after Big Sur 11.2. So many bounces on the menu bar when trying to open Designer or Photo. And no, it's not just "after a restart," it happens after the computer goes to sleep or after an hour or two. These apps run beautifully once opened, but it shouldn't take that long to open them. This should've been fixed by now.

I'd appreciate an option for this as well. It's a little irritating having to resize massive images each time. I absolutely love Affinity and I'm so happy I don't have to deal with Adobe anymore, so it's not a deal breaker, but an option in the preferences would be nice.
