As soon as I insert an image or logo into a picture frame filled with a color (image is transparent), the background color disappears and it becomes transparent. Why is this? And how can I fix this error?

Hi! If I ink a tiff in the publisher with a spot color and then export it as a pdf, the spot color is converted to cmyk. Export settings are right. I have tested it with an square behind the tiff. What can I do?
