Hi
Had a look around some of my older vector brushes to see if I could get one to match up...but no luck!...There is a 'blob' type brush in the linear vector set but in no way matches what you are looking for...So!
I had a go at this one this afternoon....It's not perfect.. It would have been better to have a linear rather than circular brush sample....
As attached (There are 12 variations on the set). As lee has suggested you can tweak the position of the 'blob' for effect (to exclude from stretch effects!)
For the time being, I'm using this tool to import bookmarks into my PDFs. I make a text file with the bookmark title, level, and page and then insert it into the PDF after I generate it.
https://www.pdflabs.com/blog/export-and-import-pdf-bookmarks/
Additionally, FoxIt (free) PDF viewer allows you to create bookmarks using a UI.
I went through the TOC and re-hyperlinked all of the H1s by hand. Now when I export to PDF, everything is correct. However, I'm going to have to redo the TOC H1 hyperlinks every single time I add new content.
That's an interesting idea, Lagarto. Thanks for mentioning it.
But there's another way that can work, and might be simpler when it does. There's a Flow option in the Paragraph Text Style labeled "Keep with the next <number> lines". If there's always at least one Heading 2 for every Heading 1, then changing that option to read "Keep with the next 1 lines" will ensure that you don't have a Heading 1 at the bottom of a column and its first Heading 2 at the top of the next.
(That approach does go a little strange, leaving too much space at the bottom of a column, if you happen to have a Heading 1 followed by another Heading 1, with no intervening Heading 2, at the bottom of a column. It will forcce both Heading 1 entries to the next column.)
Hi all,
Sorry for the delayed reply.
Can you still reproduce this in the latest 1.7.2 build? If so, please attach a project file so we can log it with our developers.
Thanks,
Gabe.
Thanks for the file! I've reproduced that here and seems to happen because of the Mitre. I'll get it passed on to development - however in the meantime you should be able to change the Mitre value to 10 and it should export correctly.
Chiming in to agree. PDF bookmarks representing the various headings of my project are an absolute must for my use case. Adding them automatically in Publisher (based on TOC or paragraph styles or even anchors, though that would be more tedious) would be much easier than inserting them after the fact in another program.

MS Word's Export to PDF does this as well. It will automatically make PDF Bookmarks (in the correct hierarchy) for all "header" styles (H1-H6 etc).
This is a critical feature for those of us making/publishing to PDF documents.
Hi there!
I just wanted to share a list of Free for Commercial Use Fonts. This is a curated[*] list of some of the best freely available Fonts out there. The criteria I had in order to come up with this list:
They have to be either Free or Open Source Fonts.
They can be used in commercial projects (some restrictions may vary from Font to Font, so be sure to read first). I made my best to ensure this point, but I could be wrong and I'd be more that happy if you let me know if I made a mistake.
No attribution required.
In some cases (Serif and Sans Serif), they have to have more than two weights (at least one italic included).
Support for Spanish characters like Á, Ü, ¿¡!?, Ññ (since I speak Spanish, this was mandatory, but there are many more good Fonts that don't cover this criteria).
[*] I have basic knowledge about typography, but I have read reviews from well educated people in order to ensure quality.
Well, here it is the list. As you can see, they are grouped by classification, and a general one in that regard. Some of the Serif and Sans Serif fonts were included in "Headlines" because they had one weight or they had no italics/oblique.
[UPDATE] Added notes on some cases, like what the Font can be an alternative of.
[UPDATE] Added the number of Fonts.
[UPDATE] Adding previews of the fonts... eventhough some of them won't look as good, but it will help before clicking on a link.
[UPDATE] Where possible, I added a link to real life examples linking to Fonts In Use, for inspiration.

Some POD print establishments require zero inside bleed. Some even require a blank area at the spine for perfect bound binding. These requirements are due to their automated processes.
+1 from me as well. This would be great.
I'd also love to check for orphans and widows as well. I think we can use some advanced search/grep for that, but having that built into a preflight would be great as well.
MS Word's Export to PDF does this as well. It will automatically make PDF Bookmarks (in the correct hierarchy) for all "header" styles (H1-H6 etc).
This is a critical feature for those of us making/publishing to PDF documents.
