Hi, I'm drawing images with the pencil tool and painting areas with the bucket tool, which is easy and straight forward thanks to clear-cut pixel edges without anti-aliasing on the pencil tool.
I'm using a Surface Pro 6 with a surface pen with built-in eraser function at the pen top, which automatically allows me to use the eraser tool in an easy manner in the Affinity suite. My problem is that the Affinity programs do not offer an option to disable anti-aliasing for the eraser tool, so any pencil-drawn line will have gradient eraser edges. I found that holding CTRL while drawing allows me to erase with the pencil tool, but this option is far from optimal because:
the brush size stays the same, which makes erasing tedious since you need to retrace your lines perfectly or need multiple rounds
2-handed use with keyboard becomes mandatory because I can't remap the pen button to CTRL for keyboard-less drawing sessions on my Surface
my pen eraser becomes useless for pencil drawings
Is it possible to add an anti-aliasing option to the eraser tool/brush settings or an "Eraser Pencil" tool just like we got a Brush and Pencil. It'd be great if I could use my pen eraser with it.
