Yes, it is. I tried with different examples and it works just fine. But in this particular one it is a problem – unexpected behaviour.

My laptop system is Windows 10 in French (France) and I use the three Affinity (v.1.10) applications in English.
I still use the numeric keypad so I don't know if there was a change in v.1.10, but the keyboard comma is not accepted, as reported by @Christophe P.

Hi @gary danang, I think activating "Point Transform Tool" (F) should do what you are looking for.

Thanks,, I have tried that but I cannot get the circle centre to snap to the polygon nodes . vertices.
Ahh Found it thanks ,, I was turning using the node tool and point transform origin, not the specific Point Transform Tool

For that one curve that @h_d mentioned, you can just remove the handle on the bottom (red) node that makes it kink back over itself instead of that node itself.

    Do you mean this?

The meaning of the modification keys is stated in the Status bar and is always in front of the user. So it is not necessary to mention it in the Help, where the user could read it, but would have to remember it, which is quite difficult due to the number of possible situations.

This thread is more than two years old. Doesn’t the Point Transform Tool in the current version of Affinity Designer offer the functionality you’re looking for?

    I don’t understand, either.
In many ways, yes, but not in respect of the Geometry operations.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Oh_Brother.
    1. Create a group of coloured stripes.
    2. Place a circle (black border, no fill) on top.
    3. In the Layers Studio, drag the group upwards.
    4. Drop the dragged group in the clipping position for the Ellipse layer. The clipping position is indicated by a blue line across the middle of the target layer:

    Having started with this

you should end up with this:

    hi @Oh_Brother,
In addition to what has already been said, you can also create a gradient with the three colors, the two inner stops being each composed of two stops with adjacent colors, placed at exactly the same position.
Once the gradient is created, you can directly draw an ellipse to which the gradient will be applied.
You can save the gradient in the palettes for later use.

    Hi @shustovcreates,
You created your circles with the "Donut" tool, create them with the "Ellipse Tool" instead, convert them to curves and "Expand Stroke" will work as expected.
    EDIT:
Attached is an afdesign file with the recorded history.

    Hi @foto-grafic,
If you want to move them horizontally away from or towards the center, you can use the "Width" window in the "Transform" tab of the studio. To move them vertically, use the "Y Position" window or the keyboard arrows.
