Entire application crashing when opening certain file

I recently bought Affinity Publisher. However, when I try to open a file I was working on yesterday night, the program crashes almost instantly (just before the pages previews are loaded). Just yesterday it was working without issues. This isn’t ideal, because I’ve got a deadline coming up and I need to finish my work. Anybody know a way I can fix this? I’m on the most recent version of the app, and have 10.14.5 installed on my MacBook Pro. I'd upload the file here but there's some personal information in it..
