Adding my +1 to this feature request!
Having WepP support within the Affinity Suite and not having to use another application like Gimp whenever it's needed, would be quite helpful indeed.

Just hopping in to add my +1 when it comes to span and split columns functionality, as it would be very useful to have.

Thanks for this quick update!
In my experience at least, other, software can easily go several months or even more between updates and fixes, so I personally consider Affinity quite efficient in this regard.
In fact, looking at its progress so far, I personally believe (and hope) that there's a good chance Affinity might eventually become the future industry standard across several creative fields.
I think it's sometimes easy to forget, that some of the competition has been around for a very long time, so considering how much this suite of software has developed in a comparably short timespan, just makes it the more impressive IMO.
So thanks to the team for another great update and keep up the good work!

You people just keep hitting it out of the park, 1.9 was already such a great update and to then have a polish/fixes update so soon after that, is simply brilliant.
So glad I made the switch from Adobe to Affinity, thank you for an excellent suite of software and for all your hard work!

With version 1.9 just out, I just wanted to pop in here and offer my sincere thanks to everyone in the team who worked on bringing us Data Merge in AP.
You listened to us and also delivered an excellent implementation of the feature.

Just the IDML import feature alone is going to please a lot of people I'm sure.
Made the switch from Creative Cloud to the Affinity suite and don't regret it for a second.

Being able to open InDesign files directly into Publisher would be extremely helpful, especially for those of us who are making the switch from Adobe, which seem to be quite a few.

Just wanted to offer my thanks for these recently presented pledges, which (to me at least) offered both clarification and assurance regarding the future of the Affinity suite of products.
I for one greatly appreciate you making this announcement, as it does a lot to alleviate the fears I think many of us might have had about this new situation.
So thanks again and looking forward to the Affinity suite and its upcoming development! 🙂
