  1. Hardware acceleration wasn't activated. I also tried it using the Windows renderer instead of the Geforce GPU. Still no good. Should I go back to the previous version of Affinity Photo? Keyboard cursor keys (arrows) move the points just fine. Mouse and pen/tablet do not.
  2. I can create a node on the curves adjustment "line", but I cannot move the line into, say, an S curve. The node and line won't move. This has only happened with version 1.9. I'm on a Windows platform with i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and nVidia Geforce GT640 with 2GB VRAM.
  3. Thanks Walt. Brushes OK in Photo, but still not working in Designer or Publisher. I expect Serif is going to fix this soon. Cheers.
  4. I just downloaded and installed the latest Beta 1.7.3.476 Affinity Photo and brushes import beautifully now. I haven't tried any brush imports into my current versions of Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher. In the meantime, I have a question. I've never installed a Beta version of software before. Should I eliminate my original non-beta version or wait until the final version of 1.7.3.476 is released? Thank you.
  5. The folks at Affinity are brilliant and I sincerely believe they're working on this, but it's September 20th and I still can't import brushes. Using AP version 1.7.2.471 on a Desktop PC running Windows 10. Did I miss a patch?
  6. Thanks to all for replying. I still don't know what might have changed in an hour's time, but I've discovered that now I just have to left-click on a node in order to make the next node independent so I can use a different curve direction. Hitting escape breaks the path I'm trying to create. Holding Ctrl lets me move the node or control point. Sooner or (probably) later, I'll get the hang of this. Ta for now.
  7. I was used to holding down the Alt/Option key while clicking on a node in order to make the next node independent. Now, all of a sudden, I find I have to hold down both the Ctrl/Command and the Alt/Option keys at the same time while clicking on a node to accomplish the same thing. Have I, by accident, done something to change this behavior? I'm using Affinity Photo 1.7. Thanks for any help provided.
