[Affinity Designer wont run]

Still the same problem.

I could record a video but it would just show the splashscreen with 'Loading Fonts...' and then closing with no message

In the eventviewer, under Windows Logs|Application there is this error

My affinity folder under appdata is in Roaming not Local if that makes a difference?

Hi,

I am on win 10 - had no issues with AD until I upgraded to the latest version, it would open but all my assets disappeared. I did have some tech support but they were unable to retrieve all the missing assets. I did a clean install and now it won't open. I do not see a crash report, it starts opening/loading for a few seconds and then the splashscreen disappears - no message/warning nothing!!

I have tried several times with a fresh install, running as Admin - nothing, it simply wont run

Hi, thanks for reply. Yes, I have enough hard space, no issues with installation and running as Admin doesn't resolve the issue

Affinity Designer wont run - gets as far as installing fonts and then stops. Have tried uninstall/reinstall, not worked. Any help with this would be appreciated - Thanks

Thanks for the help but there's still a ton missing - it's only loading the ones which I had purchased (i.e Frankentoons) so it was easy to reimport the originals  when I opened the update. All the ones I had created are gone

Thanks for the reply - I am desperate. Uploaded the assets.propcol file from windows/programfiles/affinity/affinitydesigner/resources to the dropbox as per request - Guessing that's the correct one. I had loads of assets for a large project I'm working on and they're all gone

Just upgraded to the latest release 1.10.5 and ALL of my assets that I've spent several years building up have all gone - the only asset category is iOS - How do I replace all the missing Asset categories?

 

[AP crashes when I duplicate a Text box, then Save leads to instant crash]

• Operating system and version - Windows 10
•  Hardware acceleration is ON 
•  What happened? - Existing document created in previous version then opened in latest version - create textbox, then holding down ALT key drag a duplicate, then either CTRL S or FILE SAVE both results in a crash. This does not happen with a newly created document
• Any unusual hardware? - I have a Cintiq 28 inch plugged in. 
• No recent changes to hardware, just updates of Affinity Suite plus 3DCoat 21

[Another issue with latest release: Lost all Assets folders reverted to default]

Hi,

Anyone else getting very annoyed/frustrated with the latest release? Already logged an issue that I get an error when trying to import .abr files & now all the Assets that I've spent hours creating are gone - it's reverted to just the default ones. I really wanted Affinity to be a permanent replacement for PSD & AI but I'm beginning to wonder

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
