Metal Support on Mac?

AaronS posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Just a question, I'm using 1.7.1 on a a Power Mac 3 1, with High Sierra and a GTX770, which is Metal Supported, feature set macOS GPUFamily1 v3, but the Metal compute acceleration option is not available to me in the app prefs. Is this the way it's supposed to be?
