Having trouble getting an update for my Designer program. It starts and then gives and error message. I have an 2013 iMac with 2.7 GHz with 8 GB desktop running OS Mojave. What could be the trouble? Is there another way to get the update; I am clicking on the link in the program when it starts up.

I am attempting to download Affinity Designer 1.7.1 (from 1.6.5). I keep getting an error message. I am running OS X Sierra 10.12.6 on an iMac 2.7GHz. Is this a problem?
