  1. +1 I have a similar issue when trying zooming using the shortcut spacebar+ctrl (+alt for zoom out/box zoom), it really brings me out of my "flow" when working. I think I haven't identified a situation where the order of pressing the modifiers would cause conflicting behavior, so I think you should be able the press them in any order.
  2. You are right sir, Ctrl+Drag works for Artboard, Groups and Layers, but not for clipped objects.
  3. Already works like that. Just change the tool settings and click Ctrl (cmd) while selecting. 2019-08-06 16-39-37.mp4
  4. 1.- Select the layer you want to apply High Pass to 2.- At the bottom of the layers panel you will see a little "hourglass" icon, click it 3.- Select High Pass... 4.- Drag until you get the desired effect 5.- Select overlay or soft light as the blending mode for the effect 2019-08-05 21-42-40.mp4
  5. I think that documents don't get artboards by default you have to specify you want them checking the box at document creation or by following the steps you saw on the video. Artboards are very useful when designing for various screen sizes using constrains. https://affinity.help/designer/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/DesignAids/constraints.html?title=Constraints
  6. OBS, it's free https://obsproject.com Not sure I understand what you mean, I just opened the file you posted and followed the steps you saw on the video.
  7. Not sure if I understand correctly but I think it is already there: Designer: 1.- Select object/group 2.- Click Layers>Convert Object to Artboard Alternatively: 1.- Select object/group 2.- Select Artboard Tool 3.- From the dropdown menu, select "Selection" 4.- Click "Indest Artboard"
  8. I want to believe. My guess is that there will be two more rounds of free major updates and then all apps will have their v2 announcement simultaniously. I'm pretty exited about the mesh distort.
  9. Honestly I think serif will hold on some of those as a hook for costumers to get v2, I don't blame them, still I'd like to have as much of these as part of the 1.x free updates.
  10. Currently, when you have the Paint Brush Tool selected and press Alt, you pick a global color (the sum of all layers), I'd like to have the option to quickly choose between global or current layer. I'd suggest Alt for global (current funcionality) and Ctrl+Alt for current layer. This would be very useful when you are painting on layers with blending modes.
  11. @ErrkaPetti A problem-solver, good work. Its not very intuitive but with some practice it can be used effectively ++
  12. Can beta and retail be installed at the same time without causing problems?
  13. Yes, the performance is much better if the appearance panel is not visible.
  14. Problem was this part of the shape was not closed. Click "Close curve" and it will work.
  15. 1.- Click "view" at the top 2.- Click "Customize Tools..." 3.- Click and drag the Artistic Text tool "A" to the tool bar Hope this solves your issue =)
  16. Don't know if I understood your question, but have your tried the text tool?
  17. Igual si quieres darle una oportunidad más: Prueba ver si tienes activada la opción "High presicion table input" (5ta opción en la imagen de arriba); desactívala, a mi me quitó muchos problemas que tenía con mi wacom.
  18. It's not the same but, you can create a line and modify its pressure profile, then save that line as a style. You can use them in other documents that way
  19. Hola yo tuve los mismo dos problemas y los pude solucionar: Problema 1: El tamaño del pincel se cambia (en windows): Alt + Click Izquierdo + Click Derecho Problema 2: En Preferencias > Herramientas Espero que te sirva.
