  1. Sorry, these are customer copyrighted images. I reinstalled version 2.3.1 and changed the file.
  2. As an example, I mentioned the picture below on the right („Gewöhnlicher Natternkopf“). Affinity somehow keeps running, but the file freezes.
  3. The file opens without any problems, only when you start editing the file does Affinity fail. (Example: Move image to bottom right.)
  4. I use Windows 11. Sorry, maybe an admin can move the thread to the right place.
  5. I created the file with an earlier V2 version. Now version 2.4.0 crashes when editing this file. I still have version 2.3.1 on my laptop. Here the file works without errors. Postkarten-Feldraine.afpub
Googletranslation Hello, I know the problem and it's annoying. I found a way to fix the problem. Create a new text frame and copy all of the text from the old frame into it. Then it should work. This isn't the perfect solution, but it's at least something you can work with.
  7. If I define "space before" in a paragraph style, this is also inserted after it and not only for text with this text style, but also for texts formatted differently. Furthermore, I don't really understand why changes to text styles are not always reflected in texts formatted in this way. Muster.afpub
  8. Text styles are copied from another document even though they already exist in the current document. That's a good thing, but it's important that formats can be exchanged. Text with formatting "Text Styles 1" should be assigned text formatting "Text Styles 2". Or when deleting "Text style 1", the text passages formatted with it should be assigned to "Text style 2".
  9. When I copy text from another Affinity document, the text style is automatically applied to the new document. If you do this with multiple text frames, each time the text style is transferred to the new document. This way you get the same text style several times. Is there a way to apply new text styles to texts in a document without marking them. If you delete a text style in Indesign, you will be asked which style should be assigned to the texts.
  10. New Version - New Bugs Version 2.0 has many bugs, unlike the previous version. They sometimes make work impossible! Example: I placed a logo as an eps. Shortly thereafter it is missing! When you open the file again, it's there again. Gone again soon! It doesn't matter whether it's a picture or a picture frame. Whether linked or embedded. How are you supposed to design a professional layout if you can't be sure that the elements won't disappear??? Is there a way to open version 2 file in version 1???
  11. You can format the database fields individually and assign text formats. It would be great if there was another way to re-read the external XLSX data. This is good, for example, if you are updating menus and you want to increase all prices by 1 euro. This can be done quickly with a database. It would be another solution if you could work with formulas and variables in the publisher.
