I am using Affinity Photo with the AP Workbook.

Hi, yesterday I was following the tutorial in the AP book for the Search The Woods project. So far it is going great. Where I have difficulty is when I create the pixel layer for the Pen tool (flashlight). Everything works with the Pen tool and then I convert to a selection and I can see the ants, I select the white color and try to fill the selection with the fill (bucket) tool but the color is not white. Is there something wrong that I am doing? Should I do something else instead of using the bucket tool?

Hi Max N,
I needed about 5 - 7 hours for "Julee" (Unfortunately, I do not remember exactly), including the presentation. The eyes took up most of the time, they are the most important parts of the graphics. Maybe it can be made faster, but I like to take my time

If it's not a secret, how long does it take for such an illustration?

I received mine just now. 4 days! Wow. Last year it took about a month. (From amazon.com/US to Norway)
Now I have some unwrapping to do.
