  1. There are many workarounds, lIke converting to outline in Acrobat Professional. But it just to slow process that it just better use other software that support it. I thought I will move to Affinity, but I guess I'm stuck with Adobe until then.
  2. Same issue here. Without the font in PDF import the app for us as a printshop is not usable. Workaround is nice, but it delay production and it easy just to go back to InDesign that does that. Had great hope for that suit, but you got what you paid for I guess...
  3. As a small printshop, this things is holding me from converting to Affinity. It is quite a shame that even Microsoft Word can import PDF with embedded font, while Affinity apps cant.
  4. This is a major blow as a PrintShop owner. They will have to fix it and place a PDF as non editable as well just for placement and layout. I cant have all fonts on the planet loaded on my system. I will have to wait for it since it not usable at the moment. (I purchased the real thing on day one and didn't got the beta. If I would, I would have waited to the next version)
  5. Yes, no Template option version. A Mac solution is going to the finder and change the file to "Stationary pad". When doing this, you can't over save it and need to "save as".
  6. What major issue I found on Affinity is that embedded fonts in a PDF are ignored and substitute (without a warning as well). This is a VERY BIG problem that render the suite as unusable.
