OK Dan, Sorry for the delay. I have been able to run through your actions and can report the following: Are you able to use File > Save As as expected, or do you see the same behaviour as when exporting? Are you unable to export to any location on your Mac, or does this hang only happen when exporting to a specific location? for example can you export to your Desktop, or does this also hang? I cannot save a file to any location using Save As, or Export. Sometimes It freezes and I have to restart. Once or twice it saved an image but it would not let me change the same (it froze when I tried). I have sent an error report if one came up to be sent. If you open macOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Files and Folders does Affinity Photo appear in this list? How about macOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access? Affinity Photo does not appear on either list. Should it? Marjorie

Latest Version of Affinity Photo 1.9.3 Latest Version of Mac Big Sur 11.3.1 on a 3 month old iMac Can I reproduce the problem? Yes, every time I try to export a photo I am able to select image format and size but export freezes the document immediately, This happens with every photograph I import I have tried JPEG and RAW. I did not have this problem before 1.9 and I am worried. What happens: I import an image from my Mac desktop or from Photos app. I am able to edit the image (add, edit, adjust). This is what I usually do for my blog, and for my students. No problems here. I select Export and the export window appears. I click Save and get the spinning beachball of death. Eventually when I check my Force Quit window it says AF is not working. I do not believe I have changed anything that might cause problems. I reinstalled Big Sur about a week ago but this issue has been going on for longer. . I hope I have included everything you need (as per the 'what to submit when you need help'). Any help would be appreciated. Marjorie

This is the closest I have found to my own problem. If it's not the right place I apologise. Over the past two weeks I have been unable to export anything from Affinity Photo. The app seizes up and I have to do a Force Quit. BTW I export all my photos to my desktop since I moved to Big Sur (on my new iMac). I use AP daily and am finding this a real problem. I tried reinstalling AP and wonder if you have any suggestions for how I might remedy the situation. Thank you, Marjorie
