I’m new to Affinity?. I am trying to reduce the size of a 10.2MB ( as shown in Finder) photograph to below 10 MB to sent to a third party. The maximum size they accept is 10MB. I open the file in Affinity Photo and the size is shown as “5568 x 3712px, 20.67 MB. Mystified as to why a 10.2 file is uploaded as a 20.67MB ? I then go to Documents; Resize Documents; I am advised that if I reduce the size to 1000 x 667 pixels with a dpi of 300 this would bring the file size down to below the 10MB required. Affinity now shows the file as 1000 x 667 pax, 0.67MB. When I go to “save as” the file is saved to the correct destination only the file is now 21.5 MB. bigger than I started with? Can some kind person tell me what I am doing wrong? thank you.
