  1. When I enter a number for resizing on MacBook Pro with 12.6.1 OS, the first number will not be displayed or used. For instance, If I enter 155, the 1 will be dropped, only showing 55, and using 55. Any thoughts? This ALWAYS happens. I am using 2.0.3
  2. I don't understand why someone who has NEVER owned Affinity can get V2 for the same price as those who have supported them from DAY ONE! Or, someone who just bought 3 weeks ago. Please don't misunderstand - I AM NOT complaining about the amount, or the even fact I'll be paying. Just seems persnickety towards previous owners. Can someone please explain?
  3. Yes, I did try that. still leaves discoloration around some areas. It was after that when I came here for help. I'm sorry my question was interpreted as a demand for special accommodations. I only wanted to know if I could accomplish what I thought was a very simple action.
  4. I created this to illustrate my problem. It is about 1200% enlargement of an image. I want to be able to sample the darker sky, then use the healing brush to replace the light area without replacing the leaves or tree. In photoshop, it is an easy function, and I want to know if I can do it in AP? I am not looking for another way to do it.
  5. When I correct the sky in landscapes, I always have a "glow" around the trees. In photoshop, it was very easy to correct by choosing the healing tool with darken mode. It will let me sample the sky to match, then stroke across the glow. I will replace the glow, but where the image is darker, it will ignore the trees, blending the sky into the smallest opening. Can I duplicate this in AP?
  6. I use curves in Photo a LOT. Since I updated to 1.9, I can't access curves from the adjustment window. This is all I get now. Am I missing something?
  7. There are more than 35,000 print shops in the USA. I only do what they expect. (300dpi with all measurement in INCHES.) If I don't get it right, they WILL find someone who will. I would just like to do it in AF.
  8. Both the photographic industry and the printing industry in the USA use Inches as the only way to express measurements. You can do this in Photoshop, and it keeps me going back for that feature alone. I really like the Affinity suite, and would like to use it exclusively. But, when I sit down to edit a few hundred photos, and have to individually set every one to inches, it is just too involved and too likely to be missed only to be discovered at the press proof. (after spending a LOT of money and time) How many other Photographers are in my place - wishing for that one modification? Affinity allows customizing almost everything, even to make it look and work like Photoshop, but not this! WHY?
  9. I use about five on a regular basis, but they are at the bottom of the list. Having them all in the working window would speed things up.
