Hi DreamThinkLive, So would tearing off the Swatches or Colour tab (as you can in Photoshop®) to access the eyedropper tool at the same time as the brushes (see below) be what you want? Alternatively, you can tear off the Brushes tab so that it's always visible. If you are requesting that the Eyedropper Tool be placed in the main Tools palette with an associated keyboard shortcut, then you can add this as a Feature Request. Paul.

Cracking!

Alternatively, the path shape can have your image pasted inside, thereby creating a mask for the image.

Hi Paul (great name, by the way! ;)) No problem, sharing info is the purpose of this forum. Not all graphic designers would know how to install .icc files & how to change default profiles. This is the Library I refer to, in the 'root directory', within a folder called CMYK Profiles which is within /Library/Colorsync/Profiles: Obviously, the name of the Hard Drive will be whatever your Hard Drive is named. The system will probably ask you for your admin password. Cheers, Paul.

Thanks, MEB, I'm not sure why it didn't work for me – I'll give it another shot when I get home! -
Hi patrickfoster, Is your laser printer PostScript compatible? If not, you may need to make your file RGB, instead of CMYK. Paul.

The best way to understand the Pantone Matching System, is to see a Color Bridge book of swatches. It shows the solid Pantone colour beside it's CMYK equivalent & helps to illustrate the difficulty in getting an accurate match when using CMYK exclusively – sometimes, only a solid Pantone ink will do the job! -

I forgot to add, both apps are necessary for converting two different swatch formats. ColorBook can't handle .ase swatches, the other app can. Neither can handle .ai swatches.
