  1. how do you set the rgb color profile to pro photo once and for all. Why does it appears and disappears from the icc profile list? Why can't you make it stick to one profile?  gracias!

    Hi fmlphoto,

Your 'ProPhoto' .icm file is in the Adobe folder (Recommended) in Application Support:

Copy it to the RGB Profiles folder in the ColorSync folder & Affinity should now see it & you should be able to make it the default:

  2. HI .

Im quite new to photography .And i just started to used Affinity.

I use iphoto and I've set it to go to Affinity for editing my pics. But when im done developing my pictures and want to save it, the picture is save as a aphoto and i can't find a way to put it back into iphoto.

Is there a way i could edit my pictures and then make that picture go back into iphoto automatically  ?

    Thank for your help.

    Stephan.

    Hi Stephan,

    Welcome to the forums.  :)

In AP, Save or Save As… is for the .afphoto format exclusively.

At present, you need to export any edits to a folder of your choosing, in a format that is compatible with iPhoto/Photos (JPEG,PNG,TIFF…) and then import the edited file into iPhoto.

  3. This was originally designed by me in InDesign/Photoshop, ISSUU link here: https://issuu.com/jasonproductsltd/docs/crgnz0815_nz___australia___asia_201?e=0

I have produced just the front cover in the latest Affinity Designer Beta (1.3.5.1) — better file compression in the AD file & much improved PDF export settings, great work devs!  :D

Oops, I'll have to share the AD file later with a link!

When full pre-press features come in, it will be great!

In the mean time, I made the canvas size 20mm larger than the A4 trim size to accommodate my hand drawn trim marks with a 'bleed' mask for the background image.

Also, the background image was edited in AP — RAW dev, sharpening, additional lighting effects.

    Affinity just keeps getting better!
