  1. It started happening again. Here is a link to the video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/BmX8H2gYCkjPP7vbA
  2. Seems to be working now. I did close the program and went back to it after a few hours.
  3. When using a fill layer, the ability to change the color does not work using the color wheel, sliders or boxes. Only adjusting the tint adjustment will the change take effect. If I move the color using the color wheel, sliders or boxes the color does not change and when I attempt to change the opacity or blend mode it reverts back the color chosen initially.
  4. Good morning, Walt. I would appreciate your input if you have the time. Here is the AP file. As far as viewing, I am going on Windows file viewer but also different tabs in AP. And honestly, I have know idea what the differences are in export Resamples: I just use Bilinear as a default. 1774689438_2022_09.22backlitcactus_MG_4037.afphoto
  5. OK, did that and it looks the same. But there is still a noticeable difference between the two when viewing normally. Or is that just the difference between before and after export as I can see the jpg is duller looking. I imagine brightening the highlights and extra saturation could correct the look after the fact. Thanks for the input. In the future I will check sharpening at 100%.
  6. Not only export but merge visible will lose any sharpening as well. The top pic is a screen shot within AP, the bottom is a jpg export from AP. Export was Bilinear at 100% quality - no size reduction. Running Windows 10 Home. Any insight would be appreciated!
  7. I've had the same issue, just started happening. Saved a jpg at 100% and it is noticeably not as sharp as the AP file. Both are uploaded here for review. 2020-07-26_Crescent_City_and_Redwoods_3999-duotone.afphoto
  8. When I import a CR2 raw file the image is very dark compared to the jpg view on my camera screen. I have to really up the exposure and other tweaks to even get close to moving on. Just upgraded to version 7.2. Using Windows 7. Is there something I need to configure?
  9. Here is mine. I edited my original post to note that this is happening ONLY within a file saved as an AP file. I exported the AP file as a jpg, opened the jpg and created a couple of layers without an issue. ND_Tests_6685.afphoto
  10. Ever since the upgrade when I try to group layers AP crashes. This is within a saved AP file. Windows 7 - 64 bit ~ AP 1.7.0.367 Is there a later patch after this version? I had no problems before other than kind of laggy but I don't have a real powerful computer, either so it was not unexpected. Can I just uninstall then reinstall the previous version? EDIT 6.15.19 I saved this file as a jpg and created a couple of layers in the jpg file, grouped them and there were no issues. ALSO, I did not mention that I had grouped layers in the original file so the crash is happening after the RAW file is saved as an Affinity Photo file with the history saved.
  11. I'd like to chime in on this as well. A choice of larger font/icon sizes would be great. Out of the box it was the first complaint I had about the program, which is AMAZING!
