Sorry but I cannot provide a video, but here is what I do open the photo its not raw click on layers right click the photo and rasterise select the inpatient brush and paint over the object to be removed the bar comes up on the screen then disappears after it has completed, but nothing happens to the object that was painted over. I tried repeating this several times on the same object but nothing is happening ie it is not removed or even faded. Ray -

Just tried again rasterised and set the flow to 100% but still nothing happening tried going over the item about 5 times but still nothing. Ray -

Hi Callum I am new to all this photo editing but really want to get into it just explaining this so won't think I'm stupid, but what and how is rasterising. Ray -
Is there any reason where the inpainting tool doesn't work, ie I have a photo with two people on and when I use the inpainting tool to remove them nothing happens, it doesn't even colour them when brushing over them.This seems to have happened since installing Catalina could just be coincidence . Ray

How do I download affinity photo again as I have had to remove it from my Mac after it stopped responding,I did not buy affinity photo through the Mac App Store.

there is no detail IE the cut out is of a photo of my granddaughters but as you can see the cut out is just an outline and not the photo -

This is the screen shot after trying to paste the cut out, see in the top left hand corner of the screen shot is the outline of the paste with no detail of the photo I cut out.. -
