For common Move tool based curves selections there's just the common rectangle way with ...

... or via selecting curve layers via the layers panel. - Shift-Clicking for adding/removing curves from selections works Ok for me (as far as objects are big enough to be easily clicked on) and using Ctrl-/Cmd-D for dismissing selections.

I have this enabled, but it doesn't help.
Affinity Designer on iPad constantly thinks me putting my palm on the screen means I want to rotate or zoom around the view.
I can't remember when this happened last in Procreate. It happens CONSTANTLY in Affinity.

It's still not enabled by default in 2022 and I checked both Mac and Windows versions.
My wife refuses to move from our old Adobe CS6 license partially because of this, which was the first issue she encountered and I had to come to the forum here to look up the answer. Ridiculously, rotating through the drop down menus only rotates the image by 30 degree increments (no idea why that would be useful). Also kind of silly that those buttons are only available in develop mode (I initially looked in the regular mode's customize options and got confused when I didn't see them).

But I closed it now and it works.
Could the UX be better here, I wonder? Perhaps color the vertices red when selected while the corner tool is active or something?

This is a bug with expand stroke on strokes with an arrowhead set, the issue has been logged previously so i'll bump it with your report. 🙂

Looks like the curve is open on the right hand side where the two nodes are (turn off the fill on the curve and you'll see this). Use the 'Close Curve' function on the node tool with one of the nodes selected and then try using the Corner tool again.

Thanks, but just the act of selection sometimes scrolls the layer panel to where the object originally were placed, and since there's so many of them, the scrollbar is just a dot so it's quite RSI inducing to scroll to the bottom still when that happens.
In the 3D world in apps like Blender or Rhino, there are menu shortcuts to send a selection to a specific layer, without having to aim or scroll. I was hoping that there would be something similar here.

@Bobby HendersonI just wanted to point out that to achieve a temporary zoom akin to Adobe's, you need to press Spacebar first and then Control key in any Affinity application. Coming from Adobe it somehow feels counterintuitive but it works.

@Bobby@walt.farrell maybe I didn't describe it accurately enough, but I understand perfectly how the zoom tool works and you are suggesting quite the opposite of what I'm talking about. What I'm saying is that it's convenient to access this function by a certain shortcut: when it's in the status "pressed", the animated zoom happens immediately, and when you release it, it automatically returns to the previous tool. It's especially convenient to set this shortcut to the mouse button, for example (below in the video how it works for me in Illustrator).

Got a new laptop and attempted Affinity only for a while... had to re-install CC within a day, I think. ☹️
It's sadly impossible to switch completely to Affinity at the moment. To many bugs and too many basic things missing.
Muscle memory and shortcuts didn't even have time to become an issue for me! 😂

Ideally, this should be a modifier that can be used with a pen.
Alt + right click + pen drag = Resize brush Alt + pen drag = Color picker Control + right click + pen drag = Rotate canvas view I'm sad that the Windows version of Affinity only has the 15 degree rotations from a menu, but it's at least better than nothing.

Affinity still has a long way to go until I can start recommending it to coworkers!

1. Create an Affinity Design document
2. Draw something in it
3. Add some guide lines
4. Add an art-board that's smaller than the document size
Result:
Guide lines not only move, but if they end up outside of the art-board, they become un-selectable.
Expected:
Since all curves stay in place, guidelines should also stay in place. If they end up outside the one and only artboard, they should disappear or remain selectable.

I followed these instructions but that only makes the adjustment layer have no effect on anything.
EDIT: Ok, I also missed the need to select "alpha" from the channels drop down. Why can't this be selected automatically when you do the first drag and drop action? If a very advanced user wants to drop the adjustment layer on the mask and *not* change the mask, perhaps they could go in there and have to change it instead, while the most used option in this case should be the default?
