  1. Hi MikeTO, The pages are not embedded but externally linked. If changes have been made to, for example, ten pages and I want to update them in one go, the application freezes or crashes. The same undesirable result if I do the update individually for each page. After 3/4 pages (individually updated) the application becomes unresponsive. I press 'save' but the document is not saved. I press 'save as', the procedure seems to be successful but no new document is created.
  2. This is correct. It is a musical edition and the individual pages are those of a score. Every time corrections are made I do of course need to update them.
  3. Hi, When trying to update external resources (61 pp. in PDF), the application freezes and prevents saving or crashes. The only way I found was to update 2/3 pages at the most (beyond that the application becomes unresponsive), close the application, reopen and continue like this throughout the process. Not only is a one-off update of all files impossible, but even the update of individual pages is limited, otherwise Publisher becomes unresponsive. Sometimes a crash report is generated (attached), sometimes not and you have to force exit. Thank you for your attention. [macOS 12.6.1, MacBookPro M1, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3] Affinity_crash.pdf
  4. Are you using the last update .384? No more crashes for me with that one.
  5. Hi garrettm30, thank you for taking the time to test. I'm disoriented… All the needed fonts are on my system I thought this was enough to properly import a pdf. I don't understand why some symbols are moved.
  6. Hi, I know currently Affinity apps don't support embedded fonts. However I tried to import a pdf document (a musical score) having all the fonts but Publisher returns alterations in the positions of the accidentals (see the file). Moreover same result with Designer. I tried some random attempts to fix it and eventually Publisher returned the unaltered content with a pdf before exported as B&W with Apple Preview. I have no idea why the original pdf (produced by Finale software, a standard in music notation) was altered and why the one passed through the filter remains unchanged instead. However I think it is the case to put it to the attention of the developers (attached all the files for a test). 7. Hi, with the latest beta v. .376, a definitive crash occurs simply copying a text to which a paragraph style has been applied (Mojave 10.14.5). Steps: 1. create a text frame 2. instert a text 3. apply a paragraph style (the crash doesn’t occur if a character style has been applied) 4. select the text 5. CMD+C == instant crash Thanks for the attention. Matteo Crash_CopyText
