Embedded Chinese Fonts in PDF not preserved

Hi MEB, Thanks for your quick reply! I indeed don't have the fonts installed on my system. Are there plans to eventually support embedded fonts? -
I placed the attached pdf into Affinity Publisher 1.7.0.337 and Affinity Designer 1.6.1. It has embedded chinese fonts. After placement, the text looked all garbled up. (Note: This PDF works fine in Adobe Illustrator and inDesign, a friend of mine tried it) I was able to work around this issue by first converting the pdf to an eps with ghostscript: gs -q -dNOCACHE -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -dSAFER -sDEVICE=eps2write -sOutputFile=output.eps CO-invpw19_CHS.pdf Then, the converted eps file was placed properly in Affinity Publisher and Affinity Designer.
