I did some more research and read all the comments and basically the answer is to create the whole document from scratch in a vector program such as Designer. That would be the ideal situation. Importing raster images (JPG) for example and laying vector graphics and text over the top will create image problems for the JPG but not the vector. Is that a correct assumption? We are starting a print on demand website and I purchased Designer to get the highest quality vector graphics and text for print.

Back to basics. Add my text to a JPG in Designer. Which export setting preserves vector scalability to the text for print on demand. Does the photo have scalability as well as the text. This question is my basic confusion with vector graphics. What happens when you add a raster image. Does the image convert to vector. Great question for dummies. Cheers

Affinity photo manual talks about "Instant Redraw", I now believe that Affinity photo does not have Instant redraw and I am not even worried if it has it or not.I would just like to clear up what Instant redraw is because I cannot find a definition any where. If any one knows what it is then kindly provide a definition.

Instant redraw would be preview ability to write back and forth from applied to non applied filter, retouch etc. Giving user ability to see before and after retouch, filter etc. Correct me if I am wrong, but I am tearing manual apart to learn Affinity.

I found the answer. It's a Mac thing.

I have an old version of Help on my phone and it has Media Browser under Get Started. But alas it is no longer in View menu.

Media Browser non existant on my version 1.6.5.135 Is this normal. I am on a windows 7 machine in Europe.?????? Is there an update or plugin? I think it would help my work flow. Thanks
