  1. Hey @Dan C Thanks so much for your quick reply. Thanks for logging this issue. This is great. And I am sure this will help us to promote Affinity Publisher better in the printing industry in Switzerland. Best regards Michel
  2. Hello all I would really welcome it if there would be a way to save PDF export settings and color settings as separate files in order to store, backup and exchange them (such as the Joboptions and CSF settings in the Adobe programs). Are there any plans to do this in version 2? Thanks for your response and best regards Michel
  3. Hello folks I am a team member of the PDFX-ready technical group in Switzerland. Whenever we check PDF files created with Affinity Publisher, our own preflight Profile in Acrobat DC is outputting an error message: https://pdf-aktuell.ch/pa/language/en/warning-for-output-intent-of-affinity-publisher/ In short: Affinity Publisher (or the little cms module used by serif) is changing the CMM entry in the metadata of the generated PDF file. This changes the hash value of the MD5 checksum and therefore generates the preflight warning (we are checking the MD5 checksum and any alterations to the hash value will result in an error message). Is there a way for you to prefent Affinity Publisher (or little cms) to alter the CMM entry? As far as I am aware of, there are no other prepress applications that change this entry. Thanks for your efforts. Best regards Michel Mayerle
  4. Hmm, very strange. Today when I tested it at home it worked out nicely. In my office it did not. Might have been UE (user error) 🙂 Still it would be nice, if it worked just as well with any effects applied (as it does in InDesign). Best regards Michel
  5. Hello folks Is there a way in Affinity Publisher to output proper Device-N color spaces to PDF? In Adobe InDesign it is possible since Version 2 to create color gradients from one spot color (for example Pantone) to any CMYK process color. In Affinity Publisher you can create such elements, but they will always be converted to CMYK after exporting it to PDF. I think this is not supported in Affinity Publisher, or am I wrong here? This would be a vital and very important feature for future versions of Affinity Publisher/Designer. Device-N objects are often required and widely used, at least here in Switzerland. Could you consider implementing this in future versions? Best regards Michel
  6. Almost every time when I reopen a HSL-window the dialog box gets cropped and is unusable. I can resolve the problem only by restarting the whole application. Is this a known bug? Best regards Michel Mayerle
  7. I do have absolutely the same issue as WilldOlive. I have checked and tried all the different brush settings. As soon as the clone source is not the current layer, the cloned stroke ends suddenly. I am using Affinity Photo 1.7.1 on a MacBook Pro. Best regards Michel
  8. Hello folks I have a quick question. What can I do in order to improve the quality of "Perspective Projection" on text? Whenever I apply such projections my texts looks completely jagged and unusable. I tried different image resolutions. I even placed the text as external files and embedded it. Thanks a lot for your help. Best regards Michel
