I found it.

I opened Affinity Photo Beta and there was a pop up message saying a newer version of Beta was available - I clicked OK - the pop up closed - nothing else happened. I went to the Serif site but couldn't find any way to download the latest Photo Beta except to sign up for it again - which I did - message says I'm already signed up. Where can I find the latest version of Photo Beta please?

Hey Tony… Maybe I was exaggerating a bit as I haven't tried all the tools. Mainly I was switching between the paint brush and the bucket fill tool. The paint brush would revert to 64 pixels and 80% hard and the bucket fill tool would revert to 20%.

All the tools revert to their factory setting everytime I switch away and back to them. I want the tools to remember how I set them. As it stands now it's a lot of work to change the setting for a tool everytime I use it. I looked for this problem on the forum but couldn't find it. I bought Affinity Designer and will buy Affinity Photo when it's ready.

Peter - just bought it.. But it's late here so I'll play with it tomorrow. You'll have to ask AD for your commission :) . I guess I'm the only one who sees my warning points as I can't see anybody elses..

Thanks for that info Peter. That was the main thing holding me back. I'll buy it now and get the lower price. Just asking - what are warning points? I have "0" so far...

Bummer - in a couple of weeks it will be too late to get the offer price. I'd like to try it as I'm a bit worried about the black background of the tool bar and other panels. I bought Pixelmator and ended up never using it as I had a hard time seeing the icons against the black. Is there or could there be a possibility of changing the black to grey for example? Otherwise the app looks very interesting...
