  1. It appears that Table Formats do not affect the geometry of the tables, that is, do not set the width of columns and height of rows. I would find it a great help if this were the case. Background: I typeset hundreds of tables each year in InDesign with the aid of WoodWing's plug-in, Smart Styles, which, once it is given an example, will set the geometry of tables using an enhanced version of ID's Library. It enables me to do in hours what would otherwise take days.
  2. Walt, thanks for your reply. I see the Character and Paragraph panels but I was referring to the Text Styles panel, where para styles and character styles are displayed together. I am used to having the lists in separate panels (as in InDesign and Framemaker). Also, the command to display the Right Studio is greyed-out in my installation (latest build, Mac OS 10.14.4), so I assumed it was a work in progress.
  3. Choosing "Show in both panels" while editing a text style seems to have no effect at the moment. Does this suggest that char. and para. styles will each have their own panel (which I would much prefer to the present set-up).
